"Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of 10 things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these 10 things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send *you* to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever til the end of time...but he loves you." -- George Carlin

Australia's Aborigines UFO's Alien Gods Connection

west aussie petrograph over 15000 years old The Aborigines believed that during the Dreamtime the creators were men and women who had taken spiritual forms. Particular spirits were believed to have been involved in creating the land, waterways, every geographical feature of their land, the sky above, men and women and all other forms of life.

In the Sydney, Illawarra and Shoalhaven districts, Biami was often referred to as the Great Spirit and the Eora / Dharawal people of the area believed that - at some indefinite time he went up to the sky where he continued to watch over them, particularly to ensure that they obeyed his lore's / laws. Other spirits were believed to live in waterholes, caves and other spirit-places. So it can be said that the Aborigines were superstitious. This is one reason that a tribe did not try to conquer another tribe's land. In other words they did not want to live in an area full of strange and potentially hostile spirits.

They also believed in good and evil spirits (often known as Goonges - see Spirits). Mothers would often say to their children..."don't go there, the goonge will get you". Along the south-east coast of New South Wales children and youths were forbidden from swimming in certain areas because spirits were believed to live under the ocean. It is likely that this type of warning resulted through the drowning of people when caught in a rip and the development of spirit stories about the area.

6000 year old aboriginal rock painting of the dream time god Aborigines also believed that every living creature was born because the creators had made spirits such as spirit-children and spirit-animals during the Dreamtime. These spirits were believed to live in spirit-places. They believed that their own birth was the result of a spirit-child entering their mother's body. At the very least conception depended upon the actions or design of the creators in the making spirit children in the Dreamtime and also believed that after death their spirit returned to the spirit-place to await rebirth. These beliefs have often been assumed to have been the basis of an Aboriginal religion but we disagree with this -

. The Aborigines believe that the 'world' was created by ancestral spirits (heroes and heroines or creators) in what has become known as the Dreamtime. The creators were powerful beings who had the ability to shape-change. Men and women who were 'just like us'

They are not recent creations, but come from an unknown ancient culture and are believed to have flourished before the end of the Ice Age in the Kimberley region of North-West Australia some 40,000 years ago

Actaul Aborigine Quote: Our culture is focused on recording the origins of life. We refer to forces and powers that created the world as creative ancestors. Our beautiful world has been created only in accordance with the power, wisdom and intentions of our ancestral beings. The supernatural Beings, or Totemic Ancestors, that were half human. the ancestors tired and retired into the sky-clouds.

Some aboriginal people are already coming forward to tell of possible UFO or abduction related experiences. For example, Lorraine Mafi-Williams, who has been described as a storyteller and 'liaison officer' for the spiritual truths of her Githebul group from the Bundjalung tribe, has revealed to me some of her perceptions of these intrusions into both aboriginal and western lives:

Petroglyph Said to be at least 4000 yrs old "Our attitude to what goes on up in the heavens is what rules us Aboriginals. Its similar to religion, whereby Christians believe in a religious world ruled by one God, but many "Saints", we believe the same only the many "saints" to us are planetary ones whom you in the the Western world refer to as ET or aliens.

We call them Wandjinas and Mimi Spirits, and have done so for thousands of years, until 1788, when an English concept of the above was interestingly enough (found to be) parralel to what we have practised for eons; that we commonly refer to as our Dreamtime, that began in the Milky Way."

Lorraine suggests that communications from these beings is ongoing and cites her own experiences with her "old friend" since the age of 12. She feels she is an "abductee". "... my dear old friend took me up, yes in a UFO, but a different sort to the western beliefs." Her experiences were more spiritually orientated. She adds, "I went through all or nearly what abductees did ...

" Lorraine indicated, "We believe in UFO, but here to we have the aboriginal concept and belief, and we know about abductions and why."

Starting with the Sumerians, the first great culture 6,000 years ago that spawned the Bablylonians, Persians, and Assyrians, through ALL subsequent "Intelligent advanced civilizations" and "non-advanced" indigenous cultures including the American Indians of North America, Mayan and Inca empires of South America, Aborigines of Australia, ancient Chinese and Hindu text scriptures from the Far East, Egyptians, of the Middle East, Dogons of Africa, and the Greek and Roman Gods of "mythology", every culture accepted for a fact that heavenly beings (Or Gods) had created Man kind. (In their own likeness, no less). Some coincidence to be a "myth", huh?
