"Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of 10 things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these 10 things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send *you* to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever til the end of time...but he loves you." -- George Carlin

Greek Roman UFO ET Alien Gods
Greek 'Mythology' is all that's left of the ancient Greek religion. About 1200 b.c.e., the residents of what we would call, Greece and Asia Minor shared a common, undisputed view in a group of deities from the heavens that came to be known as The Olympians.Roman 'Mythology' consisted of various beliefs, rituals, and other observances concerning the supernatural held or practiced by the ancient Romans from the legendary period until Christianity finally completely supplanted the native religions of the Roman Empire at the start of the Middle Ages. The original religion of the early Romans was so modified by the addition of numerous and conflicting beliefs in later times, and by the assimilation of a vast amount of Greek mythology, that it cannot be reconstructed precisely. Von Daniken's (Odyssey of the Gods) exhausting research suggests the Greek 'gods' were in fact extraterrestrial beings who arrived on Earth thousands of years ago. Archaeological evidence and the writings of the ancients, including Aristotle, prove these gods interbred with humans, performed genetic experiments, and bred 'mythical' creatures, such as centaurs and Cyclops. Greek gods were a way of explaining the unexplainable in a person's life. These gods, described as the perfect humans. According to Greek mythology, there once was a time when great events had occurred and the gods had involved themselves in human affairs. These gods were described as the "perfect humans". The Creation of Man by Prometheus Prometheus and Epimetheus were spared imprisonment in Tartarus because they had not fought with their fellow Titans during the war with the Olympians. They were given the task of creating man. Prometheus shaped man out of mud, and Athena breathed life into his clay figure. It makes sense that this event was the genetic splicing of the elom and caveman. After all, we now have the knowledge to do gentic splicing which makes the scenario alot more feasible, huh? Greek mythology and Roman mythology are almost identical. This is an accepted fact, as it is widely known that the Romans stole the Greek myths. However, it is very interesting to note that the mythology of the Vikings (Norse) has many similarities with the Greek myths. These myths are, by no means, identical to the Greek ones (like the Roman ones are), but there are very distinct commonalities between the two.Odin is the leader of the Norse gods. Jupiteris the leader of the Roman gods. See gods as being characters that have many similarities with the people within the society. The gods and goddesses are powerful beings capable of super-human powers, but nevertheless are characters fraught with very human frailties and flaws. In this way they created gods that had similarities with the common man in the society. This made the gods more tangible and easier to identify with. Starting with the Sumerians, the first great culture 6,000 years ago that spawned the Bablylonians, Persians, and Assyrians, through ALL subsequent "Intelligent advanced civilizations" and "non-advanced" indigenous cultures including the American Indians of North America, Mayan and Inca empires of South America, Aborigines of Australia, ancient Chinese and Hindu text scriptures from the Far East, Egyptians, of the Middle East, Dogons of Africa, and the Greek and Roman Gods of "mythology", every culture accepted for a fact that heavenly beings (Or Gods) had created Man kind. (In their own likeness, no less). Some coincidence to be a "myth", huh?
